The RUKCO team is excited about growing! We are currently searching for experienced, top-level personnel to build our team.

RUKCO is partnering with companies in the Midwest and we're in need of strong professionals to facilitate General Contractor representation of safety management and loss control programs for a large-scale and long-term project supporting those activities.

We have a Part-Time opening that will support our Midwest Region and have a home location of Indianapolis. This position will be responsible for coverage at our sites that are within a few hours of Indianapolis to support current team members and time away needs.

Primary responsibilities include :

  • Work with the General Contractor, Owner, contractors and tradesman to partner and support production and safety initiatives
  • Provide oversight of organizational guidelines for construction contractor management and operational manufacturing activities
  • Lead teams of contractors and safety professionals
  • Develop and implement life safety requirements and controls
  • Conduct site safety observations, identify areas for improvement, and develop comprehensive reports
  • Facilitate effective coordination and communication through active participation in meetings / group collaboration
  • Facilitate trainings and other safety-related presentations for site personnel
  • Update safety logs, write safety reports and submit these to appropriate staff
  • Participate in incident investigations and analyze incident reports
  • Implement corrective action procedures and track progress on corrective actions
  • Ensure strong communication between RUKCO team, site personnel and client project management
  • Work with other safety professionals, project management and trades personnel to establish the safety cultural initiatives

Minimum Requirements :

5 years General Industry Experience

Preferred Experience :

  • Experience representing and working with owner level partners and clients
  • Focused experience in Steel Fabrication, construction, manufacturing, etc.
  • Industry certifications and accretions such as CHST, OSHA 510, etc.
