Job Description : This position is responsible for aiding in building and coaching the recreational and competitive team programs at The Peach Pit.
The position provides leadership for the gymnastics team programs including athlete development, parent and community relations.
This includes instructing participants, overseeing safety, and creating innovative coaching styles, techniques and drills while maintaining a posh boutique environment.
Head Coach is to have a precise and outstanding working knowledge of USAG competitive routines, USAG guidelines, requirements and appropriate progressions.
This position is primarily responsible for both developmental and competitive gymnastics teams, coaches and other related programs.
The Peach Pit prides itself with the ability to provide career level jobs to people with a passion for gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling and dance.

Essential Duties
- Create developmental curriculum and lesson plans for recreational classes, competitive teams and team developmental classes weekly and communicating curriculum with Director & other coaching staff.
- Assesses team prospects and encourages potential athletes to participate in the sport. Recruits, evaluates, and sells team program to parents on an as needed basis.
- Weekly maintain excellent relationship and communication with recreational and team parents by having open dialogue and frequent verbal updates.
- Maintain open communication with developmental program athletes and parents with respect to our clients as intellectual property of The Peach Pit.
- Bi-annually, work closely with all competitive team coaches in deciding athlete mobility.
- Assess current team athletes skills and appropriate placement bi-annually.
- Encourage and ensure cohesive communication between all team coaching staff. Lead by example.
- Recommend private lessons to clients and work via AcuityScheduling to book and bill.
- Work closely with management to encourage and ensure positive attitude and environment for athletes and team staff. Lead by example at all times.
- Weekly monitor the attendance of competitive athletes to ensure safety and eligibility of competitions. Clearly communicate any issues with athlete and parents.
- Annually in Jackrabbit, maintain registration information, emergency information, and other related records in our system including athlete skill sets, sizes and accomplishments.
- Help ensure the cleanliness, fresh, and posh look of the facilities on a weekly basis.
- Always model sports like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards athletes, officials, and spectators.
