Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate.

Position Summary

Recruit, select, and orientate potential program participants. This position will also assist in the development / implementation of program objectives, participate in the selection / evaluation of program staff and identification of program participants, aid in identifying and meeting academic needs of participants, compile information on program instructional services / activities participants and render related serves as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and / or Competencies

A sincere interest in the educational needs of the target population and a proven track record in motivating youth from low income, first generation families, and the ability to stimulate positive activity of program staff.

Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of economically and educationally disadvantaged youth.
