Summary
The Graphic Designer of Keesler Federal Credit Union plays a crucial role in representing the credit union’s visual brand.
The Graphic Designer provides design solutions with a digital-first mindset, creating compelling graphics and product executions while adhering to launch and production timelines.

Essential Functions :
- Leads visual storytelling across various channels, including digital, POP (point of purchase), POS (point of sale), mobile, website, print, member experience, sales, and marketing assets
- Delivers design assets that align with the credit union’s brand and quality standards, meeting criteria set by the team
- Performs competitor design audits to assess current and up-to-date design competitiveness
- Uses computers as design and production tools to achieve creative and cost-saving goals
- Coordinates production deliverables with agency / vendor partners
- Seeks innovate ways to visually communicate the Keesler Federal brand
- Maintains an archive of Keesler Federal brand assets
- Serves as event photographer and / or videographer as needed
- Responsible for compliance with all Federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)

Education :
A bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is a plus.
Experience and Other Requirements :
- Four to six years of design experience with an advertising agency or in-house marketing department preferred
- Strong portfolio of design, demonstration of working within a brand voice
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products such as, but not limited to, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory and layout principles
- Strong communication skills with an ability to present and explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders
- Knowledge of SharePoint a plus
- Ability to manage time efficiently by organizing and prioritizing
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of individuals, both verbally and visually
- Ability to effectively coordinate many projects simultaneously with a high degree to accuracy and competency
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of competence
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to off-site meetings or training as required
- Keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Keen sense of lighting and composition
- Skilled in design editing and touch-up
- Skilled in video editing and motion graphics

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.
Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and / or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and / or sell ideas or services to others.
