Overview This is a PRN position Starting pay for this position is $35.33 - $46.24; base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY : The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation.

The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation.

In addition the MRI Technologist is responsible for EMR / PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol / technique for all examinations.

Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Education : Graduate from Accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.

Must be ARRT eligible Licenses / Certifications : BLS American Heart Association ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) one year after hire if not currently registered Other skills / knowledge : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : License / Certifications : American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)) registered.
