Introduction :

Our client, based in Seymour, CT, is a leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider with 40 years of industry experience.

They leverage advanced technology and hold multiple global certifications to maintain their competitive edge and commitment to environmental responsibility.

Nature of Work :

Operate Automated Optical Inspection Equipment and identify defects on circuit board assemblies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Address minor issues and escalate more significant problems to supervisors.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Operate the 5DX machine, including program loading and defect logging.
  • Proficiency with Aegis software and Component Identification training is required.
  • IPC 610 Certification is required.

Level Distinction :

I. Basic proficiency with the 5DX machine, with 0-3 years of industry experience.

II. Independent operation of the 5DX machine, with 3-5 years of industry experience.

III. Advanced programming and optimization of the 5DX machine, requiring substantial experience.

Qualifications :

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions.
  • Basic mathematical and reasoning skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

Work Environment :

  • Exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and high noise levels.
  • Compliance with personal protective equipment (P.P.E.) requirements per company policy and OSHA regulations.

Pay Details : 25.00 to 30.00 per hour
