Responsibilities
Thefollowing section contains the primary responsibilities for thisposition. Job holder is responsible for performing any otherduties as assigned bymanagement.
Works with thedistribution center, independent store owner and all othernecessary in making sales calls on automotive repair facilities.
Sales cycle includes taking repair facilities through aconsultative sales process including information gathering, productdiscussions, product demonstrations, cost justification, andclosing the sale.
Installsand trains customers on use of software and hardware that is sold.Ensures customer has knowledge necessary to utilize systemsinstalled and follows up asneeded.
Communicates withthe store owner and repair facility on a variety of topics such asmaking introductions to facilitate parts purchases, troubleshootingtechnical connection issues with store’s online ordering system,and ensuring customer receives timely service from supportingstore.
Communicates withdistribution center management to ensure proper support forcustomer, to source any possible new customers, and ensureconnectivity is maintained between customer and storelocations.
Qualifications
1-2years software salesexperience
Outside sellingexperience ispreferred
Bilingual -Spanish
High School Diploma,or equivalent experience,required.
BS / BA Degree inManagement, Marketing or Business ispreferred.
Possessesautomotive aftermarket industryknowledge.
Demonstratedknowledge of general computer software, networking andhardware.
Displays excellentfollow-up and communications skills, both verbal andwritten.
Possesses territoryand time managementskills.
Requires anindependent and thorough individual who can manage themselves andtheir territory in a professionalmanner.
PhysicalDemands / WorkingEnvironment
Travelrequired 50%+ time involving driving to customerlocations.
Salaryfrom $60,000 annually +commission
