(DON) Director of Nursing

Key Responsibilities :

• Leadership : Provide strong leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
• Care Plans : Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive nursing care plans to ensure optimal care.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as nursing standards, keeping everything in perfect alignment like the changing fall leaves.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration : Work closely with other department heads to promote a holistic, team-based approach to resident care.
• Staff Recruitment & Training : Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff to ensure a skilled and compassionate team.
• Resident & Family Liaison : Serve as a key point of contact between residents, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring everyone is on the same page for personalized care.

Qualifications :

• RN License : Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
• Leadership Experience : Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting.
• Regulatory Knowledge : In-depth understanding of state and federal regulations governing nursing care in long-term, and assisted living facilities.
• Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will help you fall into step with our team.
• Team-Oriented : Ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering a sense of collaboration like the harvest season.
