Summary : The Project Manager works closely with upper management and project team members to establish project needs, deadlines, and budgets.

Delegates tasks among their team members, depending on their skill level and / or qualifications. Responsible for motivating their team and resolving conflicts between team members to ensure a productive work environment.

This position reports to the Chief Information Officer.

Requirements

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Creates long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Creates project scopes with detailed outlines including all related activities, resources, timelines, and deliverables, as well as the project's boundaries.
  • Delegates tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Makes effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
  • Serves as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Communicate with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
  • Performs quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Conducts regular status meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Tracks project progress and reviews project tasks and deliverables to make certain deadlines are met.
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
  • Assesses project issues and identifies solutions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Practices and adheres to Keystone's Core Values, Mission and Vision.
  • Performs any additional job duties as required by the supervisor.

Education and / or Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Information Systems or equivalent work experience in the related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is desired.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role preferred.
