Rockford Fosgate, the leading automotive audio company which develops and markets high-performance audio and infotainment products and systems for mobile, motorsports, motorcycle and marine aftermarket and OEM applications, is searching for an experienced and passionate Corporate Controller to lead our accounting team.

You'll be in charge of managing our financial operations and ensuring our financial reports are accurate and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• You will report to the Chief Financial Officer
• Financial Reporting : Create and present precise financial statements in line with GAAP, ensuring they're timely, complete, and correct.
• Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting a high-performance work environment.
• Collaboration : Work closely with our parent corporation, Patrick Industries.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Lead our annual budget process, including regular forecast updates and analyzing variances.

Influence decisions and recommend strategies.

• Cost Management : Oversee cost accounting functions to ensure accurate cost data and support pricing strategies.
• Audit Coordination : Be the main contact with our internal and external auditors, ensuring the audit process runs smoothly.
• Internal Controls : Set up and maintain strong internal control systems to protect our assets and ensure we meet regulatory requirements.
• Financial Analysis : Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions and drive business performance.
• Policy Development : Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective financial management.

Required Skills / Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.
• Experience : 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
• Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls; experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Leadership : Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and concisely.
