Job Description

As a DevOps Manager, you will be a part of a smart cross-functional team delivering digital business transformation solutions to our clients.

You’ll have the unique opportunity to increase the engineering team productivity by developing and overseeing the database architecture, design, and operations within the products of some of the world’s largest brands.

Your Impact :

• Develop and administer databases, and work with business stakeholders to define conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Implement physical data models and maintain the data dictionary
• Upgrade and maintain various application databases to support requirement changes
• Monitor database operations to ensure properly set configuration options
• Plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to database environments
• Establish and implement database policies, procedures, and standards and ensure their conformance with information systems objectives
• Lead or participate in the development of feasibility studies, designs, and operations support plans
• Develop technical requirements and identify solutions to meet the technical requirements
• Use agile and traditional data modeling techniques to elaborate and clarify project requirements
• Proactively report on progress, risks, and issues
• Identify relevant data standards and federal regulatory requirements; configure the database to comply with those requirements
• Develop and review project documentation
• Maintain system knowledge base
• Support the installation and testing of database services
• Restore database and application operations under planned or unplanned service disruption
• Design and implement reports and dashboards using tools like SSRS, Tableau, etc.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands on experience with writing AWS IaC, SCPs, managed IAM Policy hands-on approach, delivering code
• AWS Cloud Landing Zone
• AWS Certification
• Engineering mindset, being pragmatic in finding how to debug and test
• Communication skills, able to articulate risk, blockers, and remediation plans.
• Work alongside architects and development teams to create cloud infrastructure that fulfills scalability, performance, security, and availability requirements.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to deploy cloud infrastructure, ensuring deployments are consistent and repeatable.
• Set up and configure essential cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, databases, networking components, and other resources necessary for application deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows, streamlining the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources.
• Establish monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of cloud infrastructure, and troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Implement best practices for security, access controls, and compliance measures to protect data and resources within the cloud environment.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure to handle varying workloads, ensuring it performs optimally and responds efficiently.
