Position Details :
- Title : Warehouse Operations Supervisor
- Location : Bannockburn, IL
- Shift : Monday Friday, 11am 8pm
- Compensation : $70k 75k base, plus discretionary bonus plan

Travel : MinimalPosition DescriptionThe position supervises the daily activities of the warehouse team during a given shift.
Must be able to influence the team to provide world class customer service in a fast-paced environment while not compromising safety.
The supervisor provides leadership, motivation, training, and development to the team while driving continuous improvement, safety adherence and optimization of operations efficiently through data.
Specific responsibilities include :
- Supervises warehouse team members and daily activities
- Fosters a best place to work culture through employment engagement
- Manages, evaluates and reports on warehouse productivity
- Tracks and coordinates the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
- Drives Safety culture through facilitating safety meetings and assuring the maintenance of a safe work environment
- Orders supplies and maintains suitable inventory levels
- Communicates and coordinates with both internal and external customers
- Hires, trains and monitors employee performance against company KPIs
- Prepares and reconciles required production and inventory reports
- Cross-trains employees in all warehouse operations
- Provides project assistance to Operations Manager or Director as required
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws, as well as occupational health and safety regulations Requirements
- The company is looking for an experienced military leader with 4+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with strong understanding of logistics and operations.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Good Prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills / / Must be able to interact professionally with company customers and teammates.
Bilingual (English-Spanish) skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and data entry software
- Previous SAP / WMS / RF or related experience is preferred
- Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment. Flexibility to cover any shifts as needed.
- LEAN Warehousing experience is a plus
