DESCRIPTION

The Welding Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and welding various components for the production department as per drawing specifications, safety procedures, approved weld procedures and quality assurance requirements.

SKILL & TASK REQUIREMENTS

  • Meets standard work requirements for fitting and welding complex level assemblies
  • Demonstrates consistent ability to weld GTAW 1F-4F
  • Skilled in the operation of available hand and air tools (die grinder, angle grinder, drill, skill saw, gouging etc.)
  • Displays constant attention to precision measurements & details
  • Demonstrates quality at source
  • Ability to complete complex crane lifts
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and possesses manual dexterity

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Welding Certificate, CWB certification, C-ticker or higher an asset
