In this role, you will conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans who have filed claims. You will have access to all relevant medical records through our computer portal for detailed review during each appointment.
Your responsibilities will include performing a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal. This information is essential for the VA to determine the appropriate benefits for our veterans.
As an Audiologist in this position, you will NOT be involved in prescribing medical treatments or devices.
You can expect to review and assess an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
Schedule : 3 consistent days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
This is an IN-PERSON position that offers a dedicated hour to an hour and 30 minutes per patient, with no evenings, on-call duties, weekends, or hearing aid sales required.
