Summary : Tyson Foods has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Administrator. This position will be on the Cash Disbursements Team.
This position is responsible for supporting the AP Cash Disbursement processes to meet business requirements; Assisting with outgoing payments and payment issues;
Handling payment inquiries; Ability to work with and maintain sensitive and confidential information required.
- Specific duties will include : Processing and handling of daily payment runs; Handling inquiries in the AP Cash Disbursement email inbox such as payment traces, voids / stop payments and reissue requests;
- Assist with daily ACH / Check / Wire / backend PCard payment process and payment issues; Ensure compliance with internal controls;
Participate in cross-functional process reviews to enhance existing processes and procedures; other tasks and special projects as assigned by Cash Disbursement Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS :
Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience : 3+ years of Accounts Payable (or related field) preferred; Advanced education may be considered in lieu of experience.
Computer Skills : Standard computer skills; SAP and Excel experience preferred.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Special Skills : .Excellent customer service skills, ability to actively contribute as a team player and superior attention to detail.
Work activities are variable and require someone who is self-motivated, able to multi-task, and judgment skills to complete tasks such as setting priorities and coordinating with others.
