The Opportunity

We are the market leader in software products and services for the creative & marketing ecosystem with Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Express, Firefly and Experience Cloud.

Reporting to the VP, New Business Ventures, a successful candidate will be a strong enterprise developer, embody a culture of extreme customerorientation,have a passion for coding & tinkering, share a deep interest in new technologies (, generative AI, creative workflows) and have a great nose for the money (, meaningful business impact).

What you’ll do

  • Ideate and code creative enterprise product and workflow prototypes using knowledge of creative production, Adobe APIs, external APIs, and customer needs
  • Work across other internal engineering and research teams to imagine and build prototypes using existing and new available technologies.
  • Use other emerging technologies (, products, APIs) and synthesize technical trends and impact to Adobe (so-what, then-what)
  • Understand business & customer needs and program into working prototypes
  • Script & record compelling technical demo videos that bring product truth to life.
  • Influence product roadmaps. Validate and iterate with customers, partners and internal stakeholders. Gather technical product feedback from sales, customer success and professional services organizations.

Embed at the customer as a customer engineer, as necessary.

  • Serve as technical expert on emerging technologies in Adobe Firefly Services (APIs), Creative Cloud technologies, and corresponding Digital Experience APIs and technologies
  • As needed, present product demos to Adobe senior leadership, represent Adobe at CEC / customer / events / developer audiences.

What you will need to succeed

  • Minimum technical skills : JavaScript / (server-side, front end), API tools (Postman, App Builder), HTML / CSS, React (Spectrum or similar), Python a plus, Low-code connectors a plus (PowerAutomate, Zapier, Mendix)
  • 10 years as a developer (full-stackpreferred, familiar with API methodology / usage)
  • Deep technical and customer knowledge across creative, document, digital experience, generative AI, and workflow / low-code spaces
  • Analytical and strategic problem solver, adept at using data to advise decisions.
  • Build the futuremindset & around the corner thinking
  • Experience across creative, document and marketing workflows (image editing, video, audio, 3D, analytics, work management, pdf)
  • Ability to working autonomously, track-record of delivering on-time
  • Work-well across functions and engineering teams
  • Exceptional executive and customer communication skills, capable of conveying sophisticated technical and product ideas.
  • Ability to storyboard, produce, and edit your own demos using Pr, Ps, AEM, Workfront, Frame, Express etc.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed (max 20% of time)
  • Extreme owner mentality; founder-style work ethic

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.

The pay range for this position is $173,300 $312,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.

Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
