The HRBP serves as a liaison between employees and managers of a business unit, division, and the corporate human resources function.

This role provides consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on human resources-related matters to ensure value-added service and alignment to organizational objectives.

The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

This role also helps to facilitate organizational learning and positive change to collectively create a positive and values-driven culture.

Grafton Integrated Health Network is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to support the leaders and staff of our Cold Spring, Minnesota and other regions, as needed.

The successful candidate will have a primary onsite location in the Cold Spring, Minnesota region with the ability to travel to Virginia on a periodic basis.

This role works closely as a colleague amongst the HR Business Partners, who support other Grafton regions, and as a teammate amongst the HR professionals within the Grafton HR division.

Essential Job Functions :

Participates in or conducts regular meetings with respective business units to ensure business literacy and to provide updates on HR-related topics.

Develops presentations and reports for HR-related business meetings.

  • Participates in and conducts employee orientations and implements organizational development strategies.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Coach managers or employees to ensure that recurring HR processes are completed appropriately and on time. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.

g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention;

including, assisting in the development of programs meant to promote employee engagement and satisfaction with the organization and reduce turnover.

  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
  • Moderates, conducts and analyzes the results of employee surveys, focus groups, or exit interviews to assist in the development of solutions
  • Provides HR and business policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Conducts analysis of HR business data for use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives.

Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. Ensure the visibility to HR analytics to site leaders, and action them to shape priorities and focus areas for the site.

  • Works with the training or human resource functions to develop and deliver change management or leadership / management development programs.
  • Assists in the administration of compensation and / or benefits program by providing support at the business unit and / or division level.
  • Assists in the administration of talent acquisition programs by providing support at the business unit and / or division level.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations and governing law changes to ensure compliance.
  • Works on or leads special projects as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or business-related field.
  • SHRM - CP, PHR is preferred.
  • 2+ years of HR employee relations experience.
  • 3+ years in human resources, Minimum 2 year of managing HR projects and / or programs.
  • Working knowledge of Minnesota HR-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work on a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Performs under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
