Temporary Parts Driver

Lexus El Cajon is looking for a temporary Parts Driver & Receiving to join our dynamic parts team! Dealership experience is a definite plus! Ideal candidate will be punctual, customer service oriented, and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay Range : $16.50 - $19.00 per hour. What are the day-to-day responsibilities? Receives shipments and verifies both the order and the quantities.

Stocks all new parts shipments daily. Maintains accurate shipping and receiving records in computer system. Prepares and sends out daily FEDEX shipment.

Delivers shipments and mail to other departments in the dealership. Receives Special Order Parts (SOR) daily. Assists with annual physical inventory.

Adheres to all safety rules, policies, and procedures, and immediately reports any accidents to management. Drives automatic transmission vehicle to deliver parts and equipment to customers, other stores, and vendors Picks up parts and equipment from customers, stores, and vendors Completes a log at the time of delivery and request recipient’s signature Unloads truck at the end of each shift.

Turn in any paperwork and undelivered parts. Responsible for the basic upkeep of the parts truck, including washing Assists with parts stocking in the warehouse as needed Helps maintain the professional appearance of the Parts Department as needed What are the requirements for this job?

Must have a valid Driver's License Must be able to read and understand parts catalogues and parts numbers. Skill and ability to use personal computers and related software applications, including MS Office, Advent, Excel, and ADP.

Skill and ability to apply and perform basic accounting functions and mathematic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Ability to interact with customers with efficiency and courtesy. Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with coworkers, customers, and other companies.

Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions and information. Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.

Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment. Skill and ability to climb and balance on high places. Skill and ability to operate forklift and be certified by Company personnel.
