Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 01 / 12 / 2026 Duration : 16 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) Contract Length : 13 Weeks Shift : 4x10 Days (7 : 00a – 5 : 30p) Guaranteed Hours : 40 per week Start Date : January / February Position Details Department : Interventional Radiology (IR) / Neuro Interventional Environment : Acute Care Call Requirements : Minimum of 8–10 call shifts per month 30-minute response time required Weekend & Holiday coverage for call only Scrubs Provided by Hospital Charting System : Epic EMR Job Duties Perform a full range of Interventional and Neuro-Interventional procedures Start IVs , prepare patients, and assist with procedural setup Operate and maintain imaging equipment and sterile field Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and support staff to ensure high-quality outcomes Maintain accurate procedural and patient documentation in Epic EMR Department Overview 2 IR Suites and 1 CT room for additional procedures Works directly with 1 IR physician and 1 PA during daytime hours Equipment experience preferred : GE, Philips, or Siemens (please list in profile) EMR / PACS experience : Epic / relevant PACS systems Hospital-provided scrubs Requirements Active ARRT (R) certification Active BLS and ACLS (AHA) COVID-19 vaccination required Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience Body IR experience required; Neuro experience preferred Prior travel experience strongly preferred . . . .
