Job Summary / Company :
Sparks Group has partnered with a nationwide retailer to identify a warehouse administrative assistant to join a new distribution center in Charlotte.
This is a contract to hire opportunity that will eventually become permanent. Well qualified candidates will have over a year experience in an administrative capacity with a strong Excel proficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the DC Manager with various daily tasks
- Operate a handheld scanner
- Send and respond to email
- Run daily reports and downloading them into excel
- Format and create summarized excel data files
- Print product picking sheets and assigning them to warehouse associates
- Correct ecommerce orders
- Assist with inventory control and conducting various type of research and cycle counts
- Print carrier shipping labels
- Assist with order picking, packing, product receiving
- Use material handling equipment, (pallet jacks, pick-carts, dollies)
Qualifications / Background Profile :
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years administrative experience
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, use a ladder, and move about the facility, bending, stooping, standing for extending periods of time
