Sr GIS Analyst
Job Description Summary
The Senior GIS Analyst is a critical role that requires 5-7 years of experience in GIS. This position demands a thorough understanding of GIS concepts, analytics, data visualization (both static and interactive), automation, and solution development.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, capable of managing projects and mentoring junior team members.
Proficiency in scripting and coding for automated processes is essential.

Solutioning / Process :

- Administration of core proprietary systems (AGOL, Enterprise, JIRA)
- Administration of advanced proprietary systems (Azure, various MS systems)
- Process Improvement and Innovation :
- Identify team process gaps and propose solutions to executive leadership
- Develop business cases for day-to-day operations and deliverables
- Evaluate new products and processes for team growth
Leadership :
- Workload and Client Management :
- Manage own workload and deliveries
- Maintain client relationships with fee earners and brokers
- Project Leadership and Mentorship :
- Lead projects with junior team members
- Mentor junior team members on processes and technology
- Assign work to junior team members
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5-7 years of GIS-related experience
- Proven expertise in ESRI ArcGIS suite and other GIS applications
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
