Position Details
SUMMARY :
Audit and report state aid student counts, Section 25e transfers and annual days and clock hours of pupil instruction for the eleven Lenawee local districts and LISD.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Required :
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Accounting or related field
- Supervisory skills
- Minimum five years of experience in general business operations
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to communicate clearly and tactfully on the telephone, in person or while training
- Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve customer problems, establish priorities, meet deadlines
and handle a wide variety of situations with professionalism
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to take initiative and work independently or in a team environment
- Flexible schedule
Preferred :
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting or related field
- Experience related to pupil accounting or auditing
- MSBO Pupil Accounting Auditor or MSBO Pupil Accounting Specialist certification
