We are looking for someone who can :
- Establish positive, trusting rapport with our clients.
- Educate and show understanding of various mental health diagnoses and disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to our clients' needs and circumstances.
- Be present for all scheduled appts with client.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.
- Involve and advise family members when appropriate.
- Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
- Maintain thorough records of patient sessions and progress.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
Therapists Qualifications / Skills :
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to build a rapport quickly.
- Detail Oriented.
- Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy.
- Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements :
- Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Current with all state licensing requirements. (Required / preferred licenses : LCSW, LPC, and LMFT.
- Several years clinical experience.
