Summary :
Are you someone with strong database skills who is highly customer service-oriented, and enjoys working with information, generating reports, problem solving, and collaborating?
We are looking for a Membership Data Coordinator to serve as a primary point of contact for membership data inquiries and variable dues policy compliance for the local Associations of REALTORS® in California.
This role involves updating and maintaining accurate member records, ensuring synchronization with NAR’s M1 membership database and the association management software (iMIS) and the Broker Compliance Tool (BCT).
The Data Coordinator also supports the Membership Data Manager in providing ongoing education, training and support to the local Associations via regular email communications, and virtual and in-person trainings.

Job Title : Membership Data Coordinator
Reports To : Membership Data Manager
Group : Leadership Development
Compensation Range : $60,000 to $65,000 Annually
FLSA Status : Non-exempt
Responsibilities :
Membership Data Management and Compliance : Maintain and update member records in M1, iMIS, and the Broker Compliance Tool (BCT).
Identify and resolve membership data discrepancies and systemic issues, offering solutions such as virtual training and online resources.
Collaborate with local AOR staff to proactively identify and reconcile membership data across systems.
Primary Contact for Membership Inquiries : Act as the main liaison for local association staff on membership record and database issues, ensuring timely and informative responses.
Identify systemic member record issues and suggest solutions including but not limited to programmatic changes.
- Training and Resource Development : Provide training to local associations on the BCT and membership compliance. Create and distribute online resources (FAQs, training materials) to support local membership staff.
- Annual Dues Billing Support : Assist the Membership Manager in the annual dues billing process for local associations and C.
A.R., ensuring deadlines are met and effective communication and coordination with the IT, Finance and Governmental Affairs departments.
- Honorary Member-for-Life Program Administration : Manage the application process by working with local AORs to verify applicant eligibility, preparing candidates for Board of Directors' approval, and maintaining the approved members list within the M1 database.
- Customer Support : Assist the Customer Contact Center with inquiries related to REALTOR® membership and data issues.
Basic Qualifications :
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years’ experience in a professional customer service environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree

- Customer Service & Communication : Outstanding customer service orientation and skills with exceptional written and verbal communication for building relationships and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Problem-Solving & Data Management : Proactive in identifying opportunities and effectively managing projects, with a focus on accurately collating, analyzing, and presenting data.
- Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting, alongside competence in other Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Organization & Adaptability : Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet objectives in tight deadlines and challenging situations.
- Collaboration & Work Ethic : Effective in cross-functional teams and committed to reliability, attendance, and clear communication with supervisors.
- Self-directed and able to work successfully in a remote work environment.
- Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a professional, constructive and positive manner.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Consistency in giving feedback regarding work progress, timetable and issues.
