Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for supervising the successful daily tasks for the hotel and overseeing maintenance work done by outside vendors. This role requires HVAC experience , particularly with systems in large buildings such as hotels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance work carried out by outside vendors.
• Utilize knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drywall, and paint to ensure quality work by contractors.
• Discuss any discrepancies in vendor work and approve completed tasks.
• Commute between hotels in Brickell and another location 10 minutes away using the tri-rail.

Work Environment

This role is based at two hotel locations in Miami, FL : one in Brickell and another near the stadium, 10 minutes away. Shifts are from 12pm-8 : 30pm at Brickell and 10am-6 : 30pm or 12pm-8 : 30pm at the World Center, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off. The hotel environment is highly digitized, with check-ins performed on tablets in a lobby setting without a traditional front desk.

This is a Contract position based out of Miami, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 / hr.
