Position Summary Description :
The HR coordinator position is responsible forfacilitating HR processes throughout the company. This position must possess considerable skill in research techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports.
- Interacts with and supplies information to job applicants, employees, department heads, and public and private agencies.
- Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers ( benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements).
- Assists with the completion of all pre-employment requirements and onboarding paperwork.
- Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure company policies and processes are followed.
- Works with managers to ensure compliance with all federal / state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plan compliance.
- Coordinates and supports events and engagement initiatives company-wide.
- Maintains uniform inventory and processes all uniform orders.
- Orders business cards for new hires and replenishment as needed.
- Provides clerical and operational support to other human resource staff.
- Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
- Able to commute and travel to support all locations as needed.
- Uses the Company’s Mission / Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
- Performs similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications :
Education / Training and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent experience preferred.
Communication Skills
Must possessa high level of verbal and written communication skills.
Other Skills
Must possess exceptional people skills .
Must maintain confidentiality and integrity of all sensitive data.
Must be able to demonstrateproficiency will all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Must have excellent judgment in all matters related to this position.
Ability to be organized, multi-tasked, and be very flexible with changing priorities.
Uses common sense in problem solving and decision-making.
