What this job involves :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive outbound sales strategy to drive sponsorship revenue for Nas Summit events.
  • Identify target markets, industries, and potential sponsors to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Conduct research to understand the needs and objectives of prospective sponsors and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target companies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and event planning, to ensure alignment of sponsorships with event objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to sponsors throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation of terms and contracts.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results using CRM tools and systems.
  • Continuously optimize sales strategies and tactics based on performance metrics and feedback.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities related to event sponsorships and partnerships.
  • Use insights to identify new opportunities and innovate sales approaches to stay ahead in the market.

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the events or conference industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for storytelling and making a positive impact through media content.
