Your role
- You will become part of the R&D Safety Risk Engineering organization of the Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring business
- As we consider Safety Risk Management as discipline embedded seamlessly into our overall systems engineering workflow, you will work closely with other roles like systems engineers and subject matter experts from the different domains along the development process.

You're the right fit if
You have a bachelor's or master's Degree (or equivalent educational background) in a relevant area such as Systems Engineering, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Software Development, Informatics…)You have acquired 5+ years of experience in medical product developmentYou have acquired 3+ years of experience in safety risk management for active medical devices preferably for software intense embedded systemsYou have the knowledge of regulations related to risk management and the development of safe hardware and software products including ISO14971, FDA Regulations 21CFR 820, EU MDR, IEC 60601-1, IEC 62304, and IEC 62366-1You have a solid Risk Analysis Methodology know-how (e.g., FMEA, FTA, PHA)You have an understanding of Safety risk Engineering as an integrated discipline in a system engineering workflowYou have strong communication and moderation skills and the ability to lead discussions with cross-disciplinary teamsYou are able to communicate in both German and English languages (verbal and written proficiency).While others say it, we do it : we care .
