Responsibilities :
- Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
- Check source documents for accuracy
- Verify data and correct data where necessary
- Obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Update data and delete unnecessary files
- Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required
- Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
- Scan documents into document management systems or databases
- Check completed work for accuracy
- Maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks
- Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- College level coursework in English, Business Administration, and Mathematics required, Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 2 years administrative support experience required, preferably in the medical / health-related field.
- Ability to type 40 - 50 WPM : ability to accurately complete data entry at relatively high speed, utilizing grammar and spell check software.

$22.00 - $26.00
If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and / or experience.
In addition to these factors we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
