Air Logistics Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

As an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate you will contribute to the timely delivery of cargo shipment for our while operating safely and securely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers to and from semi-trucks in a widely dispersed area.
• Sorting, scanning and movement of small packages and containers within a designated warehouse.
• Build up cargo for outbound flights.
• Break down cargo from import flights.
• Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading.
• May operate basic cargo handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Weighing, labeling, or make / break-down of gaylords or air-containers.
• Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo.
• Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids.

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years and older
• Valid Driver’s license
• Previous warehouse experience (preferred)
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of temperatures, rain, wind, hot and cold weather
• Ability to stand for an entire shift and move long distances across our facilities

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.
• Ability to judge distances.
• Ability to successfully communicate with others.
