Senior Project Manager :
Journal Technologies is looking for an experienced, high-energy, results-oriented project professional to manage software implementation projects for our growing software and services company.
A successful candidate will have a background in managing software rollouts including requirements gathering, environment setup and install, configuration / development, training, go-live, and support.
The Senior Project Manager (PM) takes full accountability for end-to-end project management of highly complex software implementations.
The PM engages with our personnel and with the customers to establish a strong relationship, and develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and status reports.
This position requires in-depth knowledge of contractual obligations and terms with the ability to translate those into project deliverables.
The Project Manager will focus on the successful delivery of new software implementations, upgrades, and other add-on projects.
Responsibilities :
- Establishes project goals,objectivesand requirements,tracksand reports project status.
- Monitors and reports the progress of all project activity, including significant milestones, and any conditions which affect project cost or schedules.
- Advisesthe client and company management of project risks ina timelymanner.
- Analyzes and reports the actual performance against the plan and recommends adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
- Creates communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues and assurestimelyadaptive action is taken.
- Conducts project meetings andis responsible forproject documentation.
Requirements :
- 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team centered environment
- Proventrack recordof managing multiple large implementations, meeting strict deadlines,identifyingpotentialissuesand controlling scope creep
- Proficiencyin project / program management methodologies and practices
- Knowledge of, and competency in, project management processes, including planning tasks,allocatingresources, risk management, issues management, time management,financial management, team management, quality management,monitoring and reportingand documentation
- Demonstrates accountability, responsibility, and a passion for project management
- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized
- Ability to plan andfacilitateeffective meetings
- Strong communicationskills for working with internal and external clients
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, includingOutlook,Word, Visio, Excel,PowerPointand Project / PPM applications
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with Agile SCRUM / Kanbanmethodologypreferred
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience in Legal Technologies Sector
