Our client, a dynamic player in the general labor industry, is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of a dedicated workforce supporting various operational needs. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : General Labor

Location : Bedford Park, IL

Pay Range : $20.00 per hour

Shift : 7am-3 : 30pm

What's the Job?

• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
