Job duties for the EVS Specialist include, but are not limited to : Cleaning chemotherapy, labs, radiation, and other medical areas, Assist in other duties as needed throughout the facility.
Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital or medical setting is required. The qualified candidate should be organized, a self-starter, detail oriented, punctual and have good people skills.

Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
May be required to clean in one or more areas that may include cleaning occupied and discharged patient rooms, therapy rooms, patient care areas including physician’s offices, chemotherapy, radiology, etc.
public access areas, waiting rooms, offices, stairwells, elevators, restrooms, and laundry. Maintains floors to include sweeping, removes trash / linen from the assigned area(s).
Washes windows, walls, vents, lights, and baseboards utilizing appropriate disinfectants. and disinfecting policy and procedures.
Dusts and polishes hard surfaces. Delivers and replenishes supplies as needed. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.
Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department / organization.
