POSITION OVERVIEW
The Information Security Analyst II will work closely with other members of the security and compliance team in support of a comprehensive cybersecurity program.
This role will focus on Server and Network security, Firewall reviews, audit assurance, and other areas of the program, as needed.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Fontainebleau’s policies, practices, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary :
- Establish protocols to protect digital files and information systems against unauthorized access, modification, and / or destruction
- Plan and implement cyber security measures and controls
- Research cyber security software tools and countermeasures; recommend and install hardware and software programs to mitigate security risks
- Manage and validate system vulnerability and patch management remediation
- Review firewall logs and investigates intrusion attempts
- Review firewall configuration
- Work with internal IT, hardening of systems to adhere to published standard
- Respond to daily security incidents following established incident response methodology
- Identify, monitor, and present data points, including daily dashboards, metrics, and reporting
- Ensure continuous improvement of security operations processes and procedures
- Perform threat hunting across the network for proactive detection of anomalous events and possible intrusions / attacks
- Work on Cyber Security projects providing technical support and guidance to IT and other teams
- Audit & compliance support including validation and gap remediation
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field and / or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Four (4+) years of experience in cyber security operations, intrusion detection, security architecture or other equivalent experience
- Current, relative industry certifications preferred
- Experience with IT operating systems Windows, Unix and Linux, hypervisors, IP networks WAN and LAN, storage networks, and backup networks
- Experience with Palo Alto NGFW
- Relevant networking experience
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with team members and business and security leadership
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and possess a holistic business view
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Pro-active and can-do approach to problem solving
- The ability to assess risk and translate it to business relevant considerations and facts

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

SALARY
$77000 per year - $95000 per year
