Veterinary Hospital Seeking a Full Time Operations Manager

We are a privately-owned 6 Doctor veterinary hospital and boarding kennel in need of an operations manager who is a passionate, creative visionary who likes to seek solutions to common operational issues in a veterinary environment.

This person should be a self-motivated, skilled leader who is driven by intrinsic values such as creativity, integrity and team-work! We are passionate about serving our local community, both our patients and clients and our local animal shelter.

We are also equally passionate about the culture of our practice and our employees, our most valuable resource!

We use the FISH! principles to help navigate and drive the culture of our practice, obtained from the book FISH! which studied the Seattle Pike’s Place fish market and how they created such a unique and FUN work environment.

We utilize these principles every day!

Wage : $55K-$70K depending on experience

About Us :

We have been a veterinary hospital in our community for over 50 years, owned by our current owner for the past 15. We have outgrown our current building and we are deep into the permitting process and looking forward to our next step of having a brand new building in a few years! Our owner is internship-trained and practiced at a busy New York City practice before transforming Redstone into a practice that not only values high level medicine, but also our patient experience and the culture of our employees.

Position Overview :

The Veterinary Operations Manager will work closely with our practice manager and our leadership team to oversee the administrative and operational functions of the veterinary practice.

This role ensures that the clinic operates efficiently, with a focus on high-quality care, employee engagement, and client satisfaction.

You will collaborate with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, CSRs and administrative staff to drive productivity, manage budgets, and uphold the clinic’s high standards.

We are excited to find someone with innovative solutions to onboarding our employees, fine-tuning our training programs and lead the charge to take our client experience to the next level!

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the veterinary clinic, including scheduling, staff management, and client service operations

Develop and implement efficient operational policies and procedures

Oversee hiring and onboarding of new employees in some of our departments

Fill in on the front desk as a CSR, when needed

Monitor and optimize clinic performance metrics (e.g., client satisfaction, revenue, staff productivity)

Maintain accurate medical and administrative records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations

Handle client concerns and feedback professionally, working to improve overall client experience

Support marketing and outreach efforts to promote clinic services and build client relationships

Qualifications :

Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the veterinary industry

Strong understanding of veterinary operations, procedures, and compliance standards

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Knowledge of veterinary practice management software (Avimark) is a plus

Passionate about animal care and client service
