Company Overview :
Our client is a reputable GC Builder Developer with a strong track record in the construction market. They specialize in high-end multifamily builds and have projects with set start dates.
Currently, they are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee a hotel construction project in Broward County.
Responsibilities :
As the Lead Superintendent, you will :
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Manage and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
- Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 8 years of ground-up experience in multifamily or hotel construction
- Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent or senior superintendent, handling large $50 million plus projects from start to finish
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a diverse team
- Proficiency in block and plank construction, preferably on garden-style builds
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead and mentor field teams
- Familiarity with local regulations and building codes in Florida
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including blueprints and specifications
- Familiarity with construction software such as ProCore
