Behavior Technician Aide at Applied Behavioral Services

Join Applied Behavioral Services (ABS), a trusted provider of educational placements and clinical services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays since 1999.
Guided by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, we deliver comprehensive support and tailored interventions for children and young adults ages 3-22.
Our holistic team of educators, behavior analysts, and support staff provides one-on-one support through individualized education, clinical, and hybrid services.
What we offer :
- Compensation : $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
- Consistent Pay : Same hourly rate for all work, with no differentiation between billable and non-billable hours, and no reductions for patient cancellations.
- Schedule : 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Hours are 7 : 45 AM - 4 : 30 PM from Monday to Thursday and 7 : 45 AM - 3 : 15 PM on Fridays, with no nights or weekends required.
- Paid Training : We provide comprehensive training to help you become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), including supervisor support, exam fee reimbursement, and paid work during training.
Plus, you'll receive a raise upon passing the exam.

Job Responsibilities :
- Work with children on the autism spectrum in 1 : 2 or small group sessions, applying ABA methods and procedures to encourage peer interactions when appropriate.
- Organize and maintain the instructional area, ensuring reinforcement and essential materials are readily accessible.
- Deliver instruction according to training procedures, adapting based on supervisor feedback and ongoing learning.
- Collect and analyze data accurately, following Applied Behavioral Services' policies and procedures, and maintain programming materials for all students.
- Monitor assigned child’s IEP or treatment plan objectives, track goal progression, and complete quarterly IEP progress reports as directed.
- Conduct reinforcer assessments, implement behavior support plans, and provide interventions as needed, completing troubleshooting forms and following supervisor-directed interventions.
Qualifications :
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for working with children, along with patience and compassion.
Preferred / Nice to have :
Experience working with children with special needs or autism through volunteer work, employment, or other relevant experiences.
