About the Position The Project Engineer, or Field Engineer, is part of the project management team that includes the project manager, project coordinator, and superintendent.

The Project Engineer's responsibilities are a sub-set of the Project Manager's responsibilities. This role is a step / building block towards becoming a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.

This person must be willing to be teachable and take direction well with the willingness to take on a variety of tasks. IMCO is hiring for an exciting large treatment plant project, with future work in the region already planned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities This list is an overview of responsibilities and may not include all duties required for the position.

  • Ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) is emphasized throughout all phases of the project + Establishing a collaborative work environment for the project team members + Communicate effectively with Subcontractors, Suppliers, design partners, and owners.
  • Demonstrate effective internal working relationships with company management, administration staff, and craft management + Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and internal staff.
  • Preparing written communications and reports. + Assisting with controlling the project's cost and schedule by ensuring that effective project controls are in place + Assist with pre-construction job set-up and planning + Receive, review, forward, and track the status of submittals and RFIs + Maintain project records Compensation and Benefits + Compensation : $75,000- $90,000 anticipated annual salary.
