Location / Division Specific Information :
This is a Material Handler I role in Storage Control department with the work shift of Monday-Friday, 2 : 30pm.-11 : 00pm.

The impact you will have could be anything from delivering products that help a scientist discover a cure for cancer to helping a nurse care for a patient effectively because they have the right equipment.
A Day in the Life :
- Receiving, examining, sorting, arranging, counting, storing, picking, and packing items for storage and / or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.
- Preparing and filing routine documentation.
- Maintaining quality metrics.
- Operating material handling equipment ( hand truck, pallet jack, Forklift etc).
- Working in and out of a +4c walk-in Cold Room and -20c walk-in Freezer.
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience :
- No previous work experience required
- Preferred : Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
- Preferred : Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively.
- Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language and educational backgrounds.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.
Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift weight of 45 pounds or more, with assistance and / or with equipment on occasion.
