1 year Full Time Contract
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepares and reviews purchase requisitions or bid requests
- Assists in the goods and service delivery follow-ups to internal stakeholders
- Works with Accounts Payable staff to ensure prompt payment of assigned invoices
- Supports the Manager of Procurement Services on procurement tasks requested by internal or external stakeholders
- Assists Procurement Administrators and Contract Administrators in researching information through online search, contacting stakeholders, and other research methods, and providing requested reports in a timely manner
- Manages vendor onboarding process to ensure the effective qualification of vendors and updates the qualified vendor list
- Promptly updates vendor’s insurance and license tracking to reduce the company’s risk exposure
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Business Economics, Supply Chain / Procurement, or a related field of study required
- At least one (1) year of experience in office management preferably in Procurement
- Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and JD Edward software application or other ERP software, e-bidding software (e.
g. PlanetBids, Ariba, BidSync)
