HR Assistant
Our client is seeking a Human Resource Assistant to join their team in Liberty Corner, NJ. The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department.
- Pay rate : $21 per hour
- 20-30 hours per week
- 3 days in office (may have some time worked from home also)
Responsibilities :
- Maintains human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- Assists with new hire orientation and other HR related events as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
- Associate's degree in related field required.
