Work you'll do

  • Lead a team of practitioners focused on modernizing the client's software development and procurement processes.
  • Oversee multiple functional areas, providing policy and implementation guidance, and ensuring the successful integration and management of various work streams.
  • Lead and mentor a team of practitioners specializing in implementation and optimization of CI / CD, DevSecOps, software supply chain risks, software metrics, and software assurance.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project status, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with government clients to develop and implement policies and guidelines for software development and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and quality of software products through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Implement and maintain software assurance frameworks and standards.

The Application Modernization and Innovation offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges.

This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.

Qualifications

Required :

  • Bachelor's degree required in computer science, computer information systems, software engineering, computer programming, or in a related specialized field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Active DOD Secret security clearance required.
  • Ability to travel 15-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clientsandindustries / sectorsyou serve.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, and technical project management.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps and CI / CD.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS.

Preferred :

  • Previous experience with leading software modernization efforts as a technical project manager.
  • Previous DOD consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • AWS Certification preferred.
  • The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets;

experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,025 to $198,375.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
