- Empower Volunteers and Manage Support Systems

Keys to Succeeding and Responsibilities
- Develop Community Outreach Ministry Teams (20%)
- Recruit, develop, and support volunteer leadership teams.
- Review and implement effective growth plans for each outreach focus area in collaboration with the Community Outreach Advisory Team (COAT).
- Maximize opportunities for holistic transformation of clients and providers in the community through effective partnerships based on best practices.
- Collaborate with En Espanol team to develop effective ways of engaging the Spanish-speaking community.
- Cultivate Community Partnerships (10%)
- Cultivate relationships with key community leaders and stakeholders in local government, community organizations, schools, nonprofits, and churches.
- Perform regular on-site visits and 1 : 1s with EFCC’s community outreach partners.
- Collaborate with COAT to assess partner effectiveness, provide coaching, care, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with Comms Team to maximize opportunities to promote EFCC in the community.
- Create Outreach Opportunities Through Love Esco (50%)
- Develop and manage LE projects and initiatives.
- Develop effective volunteer engagement strategies.
- Grow and manage LE partnerships and sponsors in collaboration with Love Esco board.
- Promote and represent Love Esco in the community.
- Manage Love Esco promotions and social media.
- Empower Volunteers and Manage Support Systems (20%)
- Recruit, train, and empower volunteer leaders and teams.
- Ensure appropriate next steps for all EFCC volunteers.
- Manage tracking of all community outreach activity, volunteer engagement, and impact.
Requirements
- Reports To : Pastor of Outreach Ministries
- Direct Reports : Volunteer Team Leaders
- Time Commitment : 40 hours per week, plus :
- Weekly Outreach Team meetings
- Monthly 1 : 1s with the Outreach Pastor.
- Participation in All-Staff meetings and other meetings / retreats as necessary
- Weekend outreach events as required.
- Participation in the life of the body through worship gatherings, etc.
Qualifications :
- Commitment to EFCC’s Statement of Faith, Mission, & Values
- College degree in a relevant field.
- Strong communication & people skills. Spanish preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience working in community outreach.
- Embodies the following descriptive words : developer, proactive, strategic, potential-seeker, organized, collaborative.
