Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. Packages purchases and assists customers with delivery to their mode of transportation.

Reporting relations include accountability to the District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home, Service Managers. There are no positions that report to this role.

Primary duties and responsibilities include providing prompt, efficient and friendly customer service, greeting customers, assisting customers, answering the telephone, working with co-workers as a team, packaging purchases, cleaning, assisting customers in transporting purchases, training new courtesy clerks, checking prices, pulling product forward, bringing carts in, cleaning can redemption area, stocking and rotating merchandise, maintaining supplies, adhering to guidelines, and reporting to work on time.

Secondary duties and responsibilities include assisting in all departments, delivering product, shoveling, salting, and sanding walkways, assisting in other areas, and performing other job-related duties.

Knowledge, skills, abilities, and worker characteristics include the ability to follow instructions, do simple addition and subtraction, understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, and increased contact with people.

Education and experience requirements are not specified.

Physical requirements include the ability to exert force, visual requirements, and the ability to perform various physical activities.

Working conditions include exposure to noise, temperature extremes, dampness, dirt, and chemicals / solvents.

Equipment used includes Tomra (bottle machines), window washing equipment, vacuum cleaner, power washer, brooms, delivery vehicle, phone, fax, copier, two wheeler, pallet jack, and box cutter.

Contacts include daily contact with the general public and occasional contact with suppliers / vendors.
