Overview :
Xerox is seeking a motivated Customer Training Specialist (CTS) to join our team based in Honolulu, HI supporting our salesforce and clients located throughout Oahu, Maui and Kauai, HI.
As a Customer Training Specialist, you are responsible for training customers on the operation and end user maintenance of Xerox Office Technology including hardware, software and apps. Responsibilities :
- Call and schedule training with customers.
- Coordinate and perform thorough end user equipment training so our customers are enabled to benefit from all applicable equipment functions.
- Ensure that all end users are comfortable with all Print Driver Functions to improve our customers efficiency and drive prints to our devices.
- Provide thorough training to enable end users to perform routine end user maintenance such as proper loading of paper and toner as well as proper clearing of misfeeds
- Ensure clients are enabled to perform functions such as meter reads, determine toner levels and other reporting functions.
- Familiarize customers with ordering supplies and placing service calls.
- Include leave behind materials needed to help customers better utilize the equipment.
- Confirm that training goals have been met and confirm that we have closed the loop on Delivery and Installation.
Salesforce Training Responsibilities :
The Customer Training Specialist also shares responsibility to advance the Product Training of the salesforce by advancing Xerox Office Technology knowledge or answering customer questions, the CTS shall schedule regular Xerox Office Technology training meetings or individual Xerox Office Technology training seminars with the salesforce.
Self-Training Responsibilities :
- The CTS position requires a substantial amount of expertise regarding the full Xerox Product Line.
- Requirements include completing all e-learning on Xerox Office Technology.
- Expertise in each Xerox product including all features and all relevant specifications.
- Required knowledge of placing service calls, ordering supplies and knowledge of key contacts and numbers to introduce our customers to our company.
- Working knowledge of our company website to instruct customers to important links which enable them to place service calls, order supplies, enter meter reads or communicate concerns.
- Continual updates on print driver and software solutions for Xerox.
- Perform quarterly product presentations for skill evaluation.
- Complete weekly reports.

Qualifications :
- Displays a willingness to be trained on digital office equipment
- Strong time management skills
- Experience using smart phones, laptops, and tablets with exposure to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Team Oriented and Self-Motivated
- Previous experience with software and hardware updates preferred
- Familiarity with networking and internet connectivity preferred
- Experience with copiers and printers preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
