Armand Corporation, an award-winning M / WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Construction Landscape Architect Inspector.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in the field of construction relating to landscape inspection, and resides in the area of Philadelphia, PA.
This is a full-time, On-site position. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following : Perform inspections on existing conditions, work being performed, and completed work for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
Prepare written documentation, including daily work reports, controlled inspection reports, daily time and material records, and document unit price work.
Identify and tag proper foliage to be used by architect;. Review and mark plans and specifications as needed to ensure and track compliance with the work performed.
Observe work conditions for compliance to applicable safety regulations. Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously;
and follow through on projects to successful completion. Communicate with various parties on the progress of the work in a timely manner.
Other related duties and tasks as required. QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following : Prior experience with construction or architecture in the field of landscaping , including the ability to identify and differentiate quality arbor species and those harmful to general construction and maintenance is required.
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or in a related field required. 3 or more years of experience in construction supervision / inspection OSHA 10 at minimum (additional training will be provided, if required) Knowledge of PWD Field Inspector Guide and Green Master Specifications.
