Responsibilities :
- Provide direct nursing care to students including first aid medication administration and management of chronic conditions.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings.
- Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with special health needs.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and administrators to support student health and wellbeing.
- Provide health education to students staff and parents.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
- Monitor and manage communicable diseases within the school.
- Participate in the development and implementation of school health policies.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of school nursing.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Idaho.
- Certification in School Nursing (preferred).
