The Job : PrincipalMechanical Engineer

Salaryrange : $180000 to $230000. This will be determinedbased on factors such as geographic location skills educationand / or experience.

Are you a visionary MechanicalEngineer with a passion for innovation and a proven track record ofsuccessful project leadership

We are seeking ahighly skilled and experienced Principal Level Engineer to join ourdynamic team. As a Principal Engineer you will play a pivotal rolein providing technical expertise andleadership.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Leadproject teams as well as the broader group driving successfuloutcomes and ensuring project objectives areachieved.
• Mentor and coach colleagues fosteringa culture of innovation creativity and meaningful delegation withinthe team.
• Partner closely with clientsarchitects and other team members as part of a dedicated andskilled group collaborating to deliver worldclasssolutions.
• Oversee the production ofcoordinated detailed design drawings specifications siteobservation reports schedules and other project deliverables toensure the highest quality standards.
• Takeownership of building and sustaining productive clientrelationships proactively addressing client needs and ensuringoverall client satisfaction.
• Direct multipleprojects across the group ensuring the successful implementation ofengineering solutions while ensuring financialsuccess.
• Continually maintain and develop thehighest standards of technical quality staying at the forefront ofindustry advancements and bestpractices.
• Ensure engineering practicespolicies and services align with the clients best interests andcomply with current legislation and buildingcodes.
• Actively contribute to deliveringprofitable projects monitoring financial performance resourcing andexpenditure.

TechnicalExpertise

• Demonstrate athorough understanding of building codes and mechanical designprinciples.
• Proven track record of successfulproject delivery in various sectors andregions.
• Possess excellent technical knowledgeof HVAC systems and good technical knowledge of other MEP buildingsystems with an ability to investigate and provide effectivesolutions to technical challenges.
• Adept athighperformance building design using electrified design solutionsfor both adaptive reuse and new building projects with the abilityto define the impact design solutions have on a buildings carbonfootprint and a projects commercialviability.
• Be a Professional Engineer (P.E.) orhold equivalent professionalcertification.
• LEED AP accreditation ispreferred reflecting a commitment to sustainable designpractices.
• Familiarity with industrystandardsoftware like Revit for detailed design drawings and computationalanalysis tools such as CFD and energy modeling software to developinnovative and energyefficientsolutions.
• Strong communication skills bothverbal and written including the ability to present technicalinformation to diverse audiences including nontechnicalstakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to managemultiple projects teams and deadlines while ensuring clientsatisfaction.
• Expertise in mentoring andcoaching junior engineers to foster growth and development withinthe team.
• Proven success in businessdevelopment client acquisition and maintaining longterm clientrelationships is an advantage.

Qualifications &Requirements

• Possess 15years of extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering designwithin the building services and constructionindustry.
• Bachelors or Masters degree inMechanical Engineering or a relevantfield.
• Proven experience in a leadershipcapacity within an MEP Engineering Consultancy or relatedfield.
