EMCOR Services Team Mechanical has an immediate need for a Service Department Support Specialist (SDSS)
SUMMARY
The SDSS is responsible for assisting / supporting the Service Department Dispatch Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
While under the supervision of the Vice President of Service, the SDSS must be able to effectively and accurately perform the following duties that include but are not limited to :
Answer calls from customers and field service technicians.
Organize service requests
Monitor email requests from external customers
Enter new work orders and jobs into our systems
Coordination and scheduling of repairs & installs with multiple internal / external customers
Review / approve payroll
Call existing customers and offer to set up maintenance calls
Schedule jobs and dispatch service technicians
Maintain knowledge of service technician whereabouts in order to provide accurate estimate of technician arrival to the customer
Enter and provide purchase orders to account managers and service technicians
Provide backup dispatching duties as needed (training on dispatch system will be provided)
Check in service paperwork and close completed service tickets daily
Update the dispatch board in EMCOR proprietary system (COINS)
Maintain the weekly service technician schedule (and on call schedule) and process (weekly) all service technician time sheets
Ensure accuracy of service technician time sheet entry and provide time sheets for payroll each Monday.
Process field technician expense reports
Efficiently dispatch all HVAC service requests to the service technicians
Enter and maintain detailed notes in electronic customer files
Participate in department meetings as requested
Performs additional assignments as requested and maintains a teamwork attitude.
