The Infrastructure Engineering Group is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure- Messaging / Streaming.
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead cloud engineering implementations in collaboration with System IT and foundational cloud teams.
Your expertise will drive the provisioning of highly scalable, highly available, and fully resilient infrastructure to support cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement cloud-native messaging and streaming solutions for high-volume transaction environments.
Collaborate with architects to automate messaging infrastructure capabilities, supporting system-wide integrations.
Build modularized Terraform infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates for standardized implementations.
Engage with architects, developers, and technical support teams to deploy cloud application services within a managed service environment.
Partner with System IT to enhance cloud technological capabilities aligned with business requirements.
Contribute to innovation and anchor Proof of Concepts for assessing service fitness.
Assess foundational services, integration capabilities, and cloud operations.
Deliver in an Agile environment, solving complex problems as they arise.
Produce comprehensive documentation.
Qualifications :
Technical : 6-10 years of cloud engineering experience.
Skills :
Building and managing enterprise cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with AWS and / or Azure environments.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
Specialized expertise in modularized Terraform IaC templates.
Messaging and streaming solutions using AWS Kafka, MQ, Kinesis, SQS, SNS services.
Working knowledge of AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3, ELB / ALB, RDS / Aurora, ElastiCache).
Container implementations (ECS, EKS, Docker).
DevOps infrastructure setup, CI / CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible Tower, etc.).
Designing highly available, fault-tolerant enterprise-class infrastructure.
Cloud identity and access management.
Familiarity with DevSecOps operating models.
Agile team experience.
Development skills in Python and / or Java.
Ability to translate architectural plans into infrastructure implementations.
Educational : Bachelor’s degree preferred.
